I'm Johnny Walton

I am a teacher at The Carroll School in Lincoln, MA. I teach to small groups of students in Grades Two, Three, and Four.

I am an Associate Level member of Orton-Gillingham training. Orton-Gillingham is a highly effective, research-based, language tutoring service. Orton-Gillingham’s guiding principals: Personalized, Multisensory, Diagnostic and Prescriptive and Direct Instruction.

I am a graduate of The Angela Wilkins Program of Graduate Studies in Education. Through the Carroll School’s partnership with Lesley University, I obtained my Masters in Teaching Students with Mild Disabilities K-6 in May 2022.

I attended University of North Carolina Wilmington, and studied at The Watson College of Education. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Math and Technology in Mayy 2021.

I grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and have spent every summer of my life in Wellfleet on Cape Cod. I am dyslexic, and I attended Learning Center and Reading Intervention classes during my own educational career.

I love sports! Some of my favorites are volleyball, soccer, basketball, surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, swimming, and wiffle ball.
